We are pleased to announce that the Latvian Society of Otorhinolaryngology became a member of CEORL-HNS on 27 April 2026 during the CEORL-HNS General Assembly held in Gothenburg, Sweden. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all CEORL-HNS members who supported our application and voted in favour of our membership.

The Latvian Society of Otorhinolaryngology is a dynamic and active organisation dedicated to advancing the field of otorhinolaryngology in Latvia. We regularly organise national scientific meetings and educational events, often in collaboration with other medical societies, promoting a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and professional development. In addition, our members actively participate in European congresses and contribute to the wider ENT community.

Looking ahead, we aspire to organise an international congress in Latvia in the near future, further strengthening scientific exchange and collaboration across Europe.

Our priorities include enhancing educational opportunities for our members and ENT residents, supporting the continued development of otorhinolaryngology in Latvia, strengthening our role within the European ENT community, and fostering closer collaboration with colleagues throughout Europe.

We are honoured to join the CEORL-HNS family and look forward to contributing actively to its future initiatives and shared mission.
