40th Pan-American Congress of Otorhinolaryngology was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, from 4 to 6th June, 2026. It was organized by the Pan-American Association of ORL-HNS, whose president is Dr. Jacqueline Alvarado, Dr. Andre Alencar,
President of the Brazilian Association of ORL-HNS, and Dr. Geraldo Druck Sant'Anna,
President, 40th Pan-American Congress of ORL-HNS.
It was an outstanding scientific meeting, well organized, attended by more than 2,300 participants from more than 30 states.
The CEORLHNS delegation was composed of the president, Tomislav Baudoin, and the treasurer, Patrick Sheehan; the president of the CEORLHNS congress in Berlin, Stefan Plontke, and the president of the congress in Antalya, Cem Meco. All actively participated with at least one presentation. The president, Tomislav Baudoin, sent greetings from the CEORLHNS at the opening ceremony.
The organizers expressed generosity and extraordinary hospitality to us, for which we are grateful, and this truly memorable experience.
Our attendance at the congress strengthened ties of friendship and collaboration between our organizations, and we deeply appreciate the opportunity to engage with colleagues from across the Pan-American region.
